Who can review a program?
- At present, only users with a Designer or Administrator role can review a program.
-
Even if the user doesn't necessarily have an instructional design role on your team, you can create his or her account as a Designer, and only give access to the program to be reviewed by putting the person in the Program collaborators.
Reminder: Designers only have access to programs for which they are collaborators or owners. To find out more about Owner/Collaborator access, see the article Accessing the Studio and consulting the program list.
- If required, you can lock the program to prevent changes to content during revision.
How do I share my program for review?
All features are available under the Review tab in the Studio. ⤵
To share the link with reviewers so that they have access to the correct content, click on "Copy review link".
💡 Note that this is the same URL as under the "Open for review" button.
💡 All reviewers use the same link as B12 identifies them by their user account.
To find out more about how reviewers will be able to add their comments to the program, see the following article For reviewers - Commenting on a program.
How can I see the comments left in my program?
As comments are added, you'll see them in different places in B12:
- In the Overview page
- In the Review tab
3. In the Structure tab, on each activity
4. In the Activity tab, you can see the icons in the "Comments" column.
To view a comment directly in an activity, click on the View button in the top right-hand corner.
You can also open the program under Review to browse through all the comments.
💬 A comment bubble icon indicates the presence of a comment.
How do I make adjustments in response to comments?
There are two possible options:
- Starting from the view in the Review tool, use the Modify button in the top right-hand corner. This will open the activity in edit mode.
- In the Studio, activities with comments will also be easliy identified via a small comment icon. You can therefore make corrections directly from the Structure or Activities tabs. All comments are available on the left-hand side of activities in the Studio.
How do I mark comments as resolved and manage the list of remaining comments?
In all comment boxes, regardless of whether you are on the Overview page, Review page or editing an activity, you can:
- Add a reply to the conversation.
- Mark Resolve by clicking on the three dots of the original comment.
Then, on the Overview and Review pages, only Open comments are shown by default.
On the Review page, you can sort comments by 3 statuses:
- All
- Open
- Closed
