Engagement
Delays are calculated based on the due date of sequences for each learner. As soon as this date is passed, the learner is considered late.
The "late" status is added to the mutually exclusive completion statuses:
- Not started
- In progress
- Completed
- Not available
A learner can therefore be in one of the following situations:
- Not started and late
- In progress and late
As soon as a sequence is completed, the "late" status is automatically removed. The status "Completed and late" does not exist.
The "Not available" status indicates that a sequence is not yet accessible for certain learners. If multiple cohorts overlap or if the program is deployed based on the registration date, this status allows you to track the progress of the deployment over time.
Reminder: Engagement statistics and each bar in the progress table are clickable to display details by learner in a side panel. You can also send a message to learners of your choice from this panel.

Knowledge
- The gauge shows the latest sequence result for each learner, thus reflecting the current level in the organization for this program. The cumulative average, on the other hand, averages all sequences for all learners. If learners improve over time, the latest result will be higher than the cumulative average.
- The confidence level is measured using the 4 confidence levels associated with each question.
- The dials are defined according to the targeted performance level, as established in the program settings (link). You can adjust this level at any time, which will change the distribution of the 4 zones of the matrix.
- The knowledge/confidence matrix shows the intersection between these two dimensions, according to 4 statuses:
- Mastery — The learner displays a high level of confidence and knowledge.
- Hesitation — The learner gets correct answers but doubts their knowledge. They benefit from continuing practice, coaching, and exploring what still causes hesitation.
- Conscious ignorance — The learner does not have the correct answers and is not confident in their responses. In other words, they know that they do not know.
- Erroneous certainty — The learner believes they have the correct answer but makes a mistake. This situation is more concerning: it is important to monitor the progress of these learners to determine if they learn from their mistakes over time. Remediation activities — coaching, support, additional training — may be necessary to correct these erroneous understandings.
The matrix categories are also displayed in the performance details by subject. By clicking on a subject, you can view details by learner.
You also have access to results for each question in the program.

Practice
- The indicators in the practical case grid follow the format selected for each performance criterion (number of stars, yes/no, text).
- When a learner is selected and data are available for both trainer evaluation and self-evaluation, the table indicates the number of criteria showing misalignment. In the details, you can see if the self-evaluation was higher or lower than the trainer’s evaluation — which opens the door to a discussion about the learner’s perception of their own performance.
- The trend shows the evolution of the evaluation by practical case when these are repeated over time.

Skills
This tab presents the results of skills development activities: self-evaluations and challenges.
To display details of self-evaluations and challenges, select a learner in the filters.

Custom Indicators
Surveys in B12 allow you to measure indicators of your choice, in various formats: multiple choice question, multiple response question, numeric scale, or open question.
To highlight a question and prevent it from getting lost among your other surveys, you can designate it as a key indicator:
- In Studio, open the targeted survey.
- Under the question, check the option "Key indicator".
- You can also enter a indicator title, which will replace the question text in the graph title.
The indicator will then be accessible in two places: under the Custom Indicators tab and at its usual location in the targeted survey.
Â
Comparison
This tab allows you to compare key indicators between different entities: groups, learners, or elements of a custom field such as departments or regions.
