Through B12, it is possible to assign multiple roles to a user. One example of use is an administrator who wants to see what a learner sees. Multi-role solves this issue by allowing the user to switch between various roles. In this article, you will learn how to:
Manage a user's roles
1. Go to the user management page and select the desired user.
2. Click on the pencil to the right of "Role".
3. Select the roles to assign.
✅ The user now has multi-role enabled for their account.
Switch between different roles
1. In the navigation bar at the top of B12, a role selector is visible. Click on it.
2. Select the role to use.
✅ The application will reload and automatically switch to the selected role for the logged-in user.
