Here are the effects of different manipulations at group, user and program level. ⤵
Deleting a learner from a group
For the learner :
- Will no longer have access to the program(s) in this group.
- Will also lose access to the program(s) dashboard.
For Admin, Designer, Manager dashboards
- This learner's results will no longer be visible in the group or program.
Statistics tab
- The learner's data is still available even after the group has been deleted.
🚩 If the learner is added to another group containing the same program(s), the learner's progress and results are acknowledged. The learner can continue where they left off. Their data will now be added to the new group (including data from before).
Deactivating a learner
For the learner :
- Will no longer have access to B12 and will be removed from all these groups.
For Admin, Designer, Trainers, Managers dashboards
- This learner's results will no longer be visible in the group or program.
Statistics tab
- Learner data is still available even after account deactivation.
🚩 If the learner's account is reactivated, they will not have default access to their previous groups and programs. In other words, they return to an “empty” B12. If the learner is manually put back into the previous groups, progress and results will be recognized for the programs in those groups.
Delete a group

- Will no longer have access to this group's program(s).
For Admin, Designer, Trainer, Manager dashboards
- This group's results will no longer be visible in the program.
- Learners' results will no longer be visible in the program.

- Learner data is still available even after the group has been deleted.
🚩 As mentioned above, if a learner is reassigned to a group that contains a program already completed or started in a deleted group, their progression and results will be acknowledged.
Deleting a program
- All program data will be lost in the dashboards.
- In the Statistics tab, the data will still be available.
Deleting an activity in a program
- All activity data will be lost.
Hiding (archive) a program
- No impact for learners. They still have access to the program on the home page and in the dashboards.
- For Admins, designers, managers, trainers: If a program is hidden, it will no longer appear in the list of programs in the dashboard, nor will it be available in the Global dashboard.
- The data is still available in the Statistics tab.
- To re-display the data in the dashboards, simply set the program back to “ Show ” in the Studio. See Accessing the Studio and consulting the program list.
