Accessing the Studio
1. Click on the tools icon in the menu bar.
The List of Programs
You can choose how to display the programs in the list in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column header. For example, you can display the list alphabetically or by the program creation date.
The list can be configured according to your display preferences.
Columns: select the columns you want to display.
Filters: show only programs that meet the filter criteria. By default, a filter is set to remove Hidden programs from the list. See below for more details.
Favorite Programs
You can mark a program as a favorite so it always appears at the top of the list.
1. Hover your mouse over the Favorite column to click the star and activate it.
2. Another option: click the three dots at the end of the row, and select Add to favorites.
NOTE
Please note, these selections are made only for yourself and not for other B12 users.
Your display preferences with column and filter choices will be saved. The next time you log into the Studio, the filters will be applied. If some programs seem to have disappeared, make sure they are not hidden by filters.
To Access Your Program
1. Select the desired program and click on the row.
2. If needed, use the search bar to find your program.
Access to Programs by Collaborating Designers
Administrators have a full view of all programs in B12.
Designers have access to programs for which they are owners or collaborators. This allows segmenting who sees what on the platform and conducting tests without all designers having access. A designer can only deploy programs within a group for which they are a collaborator.
Owner: by default, this role is assigned to the designer who created the program. This can be changed by the owner or an administrator.
Collaborator: collaborators are designers who have access to the program. Collaborators can modify the program and deploy it within a group. Only owners and administrators can add or remove collaborators.
To Add or Modify Collaborators
1. Click the three dots at the end of the row, and select Manage collaborators.
2. Add collaborators from the list of designers presented. If the person you want to add does not yet have a designer role in B12, you must first change their role.
Note: it is also possible to manage collaborators from the Program Overview page in the Studio.
Locking a Program to Prevent Modification
To prevent a collaborator from modifying a program, it is possible to lock a program. Only the program owner can perform this action. The owner can also unlock the program if needed.
When a program is locked, it can be accessed in "read-only" mode (coming soon).
When a program is locked, it can still be deployed within a group as usual.
1. To lock a program you own, click on the three dots at the end of the row
2. Click Lock.
Hiding a Program
Only owners and administrators can hide and unhide a program.
When a program is hidden:
- It no longer appears in the list of programs, nor on the homepage for administrators and designers, nor in the list of programs on the dashboard.
- Learners still have access to the hidden program as usual, whether or not they have completed the program.
This feature can be used to archive some of your programs without losing data. To regain access to dashboard data, the program must be unhidden. The program will then be accessible again on the dashboard.
To Hide a Program
1. To hide a program, click the three dots at the end of the program row.
2. Click Hide.
To Redisplay a Hidden Program
By default, hidden programs are not displayed in the list.
Two elements are used to view hidden programs: the "Hidden" column and the corresponding filter.
By default, the "Hidden" column is not displayed and a filter is applied to show only visible (not hidden) programs.
To unhide the program: it may be helpful to display the Hidden column again.
1. Click the "Columns" button at the top right.
2. Enable the "Hidden" option with the toggle button. The column will now be displayed.
The Hidden filter is applied by default and shows only non-hidden programs.
Filter Legend:
- Hidden is false: only non-hidden programs are displayed. Default value.
- Hidden is true: only hidden programs are displayed.
- Hidden is all: all programs are displayed, hidden and non-hidden.
By setting the filter to true or all, or by removing the filter, you can redisplay hidden programs and find your program.
Then go to the end of the row, click the three dots, and select Show.
Exporting a Program in Word Format
Use this feature to get an export in Word format of all the contents of your program, including notification texts, introduction and conclusion words in sequences, etc.
If the document with images is too large, a message will prompt you to contact Support to obtain the export with images if necessary, or use the export without images if that suits you.
