Basics
The creation of the broadcast schedule for the program sequences is done on two levels.
- In the Studio, under the Structure tab, the program designer creates a template schedule that they recommend for the training. This is a model that contains the desired spacing for the sequences (example: one sequence per week for 4 weeks). This template schedule is based on non-specific dates (day 1 of the program... day 15 of the program). However, it is possible to work in "Simulation" mode to view the days in a real calendar. See below for details.
- The template schedule is stored in memory in B12. When the program is deployed to a group, the actual dates of the activities will be confirmed for the group.
It is thus possible to create a template program in the Studio, and then deploy this program to different groups according to the specific dates you want to assign to these groups. In the Studio, the base remains the same each time, thus avoiding having to make changes in the Studio for each group.
💡This section concerns the creation of the template schedule in Studio. For assigning actual dates to the group, you can consult the article Assign a Program to a Group.
Place Sequences in the Planning Schedule
1. Click on the Structure tab in the Studio.
2. Sequences that are not placed in the schedule have a "Unassigned" message and are by default placed at the bottom of the list.
3. To assign a sequence to a day, you must drag and drop the sequence to the chosen date.
4. When placed in the schedule, they are automatically arranged in chronological order according to the order in the schedule. The planning day is added at the end of the sequence title.
5. Once assigned, the sequence will be sorted according to the order of the schedule.💡To change the order of appearance in the left portion, simply change the order in the schedule.
Note that you can also place more than one sequence in a day. A box will open allowing you to choose the display order for the day.

🚩Attention
An unassigned sequence will not be available in the program during the assignment to the Group. You must absolutely place the sequence in the schedule to make it available for deployment. This must be done for each new sequence.
In other words, by default, new sequences are not visible to learners. This allows you to work on content along the way without anyone seeing it.
🚩Groups that already have a program assigned will not automatically add this new sequence to their schedule. The new sequence will be without a date.
If you decide to add a new sequence while the program is already deployed, when you are ready to broadcast this new content, you must:
1) Add the sequence to the schedule, and then,
2) Confirm the date in the ongoing group(s) (see assigning a program to the Group). A pop-up message will invite you to add these dates to your groups.

Use Simulation Mode
Simulation mode allows you to see the schedule with real dates. This allows for better planning of sequences if you have specific dates in mind for a program.
It is possible to switch between simulation and generic days; the planning will not be lost.
The dates will be stored in memory in B12, and when the program is assigned to a group in "Fixed Date" mode (see here for details), these dates will be proposed by default.
Add a Due Date to a Sequence
When configuring the sequence, you can add a due date to complete the sequence. In this tab, the date remains generic (X days to complete the sequence).
In the schedule, you will see in pale the days when the activity can be completed.
By default, sequences are to be completed on the same day.
After the due date, the sequence remains available to the learner, but a "Late" notice is added on their homepage. The statistics for measuring delays will also take this due date into account.
- When deploying the program to the Group, you will be able to confirm the due date based on a real date in the schedule if the program is deployed in "Predetermined Date" mode.
- If the program is deployed in "Registration Date" mode, the number of days to complete the sequence will be the one indicated here in the Studio Planning tab.
To learn more about deploying the program in groups, see this article.
View Notifications in the Schedule
All notifications (initial notifications and reminder notifications) will be indicated with a bell icon in the schedule. To know the time and sequence of the notification, hover your mouse over the icon.
